it's all on the surface

In my opinion, the Americans celebrate everything superficial. On Christimas Eve, we had dinner on with my host families relatives and on Christmas Morning the kids got prestens, but that was only way to celebrate Christmas. In Germany we spent three days with our relatives, we have a lot of meals and we play with our new toys. My host parents in contrast went to work on December 26th. A few days ago my host kid had his birthday, but we didn't either celebrate that the way I know. In the morning there was a "Happy Birthday" and then he want to school. After school he had to go directly to swimming and finally when he got home there were two prestens from me to him and he opened them. We ordered pizza and had one piece of cake after. When he was in bed my host mom told me that she forgot to give him the prestens. I am wondering whether that is usually?! In Germany we have a table with a lot of presents and a cake in the morning. We are supposed to open them before school. After school there are mostly some relatives over at our house to have cake and dinner. We are getting more presents and we have lots of fun with our guests. Why is it so different?

THE BENEFITS OF TRAVELING

In the first place, traveling increases our knowledge. Only by traveling can we see things outside our home town.I am always interested in traveling. My reasons are quite (extremely) simple and clear. If anybody is not satisfied with my viewpoint(s), I shall be greatly surprised at his ways of thinking.In the second place, traveling is good to our health. While we are traveling, we usually exercise our bodies.In conclusion, I earnestly hope that everybody must seize (grasp at) the opportunity of traveling.

midterm

Now all of class are midterms. how about your midterm? good?

we still have one exam that is grammar test in English class. Actually, other classes already had midterm. Maybe that is not bad. However, I'm worring about English grammar test.

Even though I'm studing english for the test, it is ver confuse for me. I think other classmate will be get good grade.. they are very good students. I will tring to get good grade.

Anyway, I wish we get good grade..thus we should study for English test.

Light

     Light is very important because I came from a country who  did not have to many lights. When I saw the first time America I was so happy because I can go out at night to watch movies and party. When I was in Africa  my state did not have enough lights, so I cannot go outside after 7:00pm, that means we will not have party at night. We have party during the day, but it's not fun as night. It's also important for education because some people like to study at night when every body is a sleep. For example my younger sister likes to study at  night and she is very smart that means without the light she wouldn't have study at night, so it help her. I believe light is very important for everything.

thankfully there is skype

I am very happy that I have the possibilty to talk to my family and friends in Germany. Thanks Skype we can see each other and it does not even cost money. Sometimes I wonder what I would do without this possibility. I would have to send letters, which take about one week to deliver, or we would have to use a telephone and spend a lot of money. Thanks the internet everything is easier. When there is not enough time to skype, we just send e-mails. It feels like there would be no distance. Do you talk with your family via Skype?

Leo was “ten times her age”. Would you marry someone older than you? By how much? What possible advantages/disadvantages are there to marrying someone much older than you?

I think that if My lover older than me, I can accept it to marry her. Probably 2 to 3 years, should be more and 5 years limit. The possible advantages are she can take care me about my all things, and then I don't need to worry about a lot of things. The disavantages are different age has different changes in thought and she knows a lot because goes in the society earlier than me.When we havs different opinions we will agree with each other.

I think I can marry someone older than me. However,I can’t marry with her who is ten times my age. I can accept at least, 3 or 4 years older than me. If I marry with older than me, I have advantages and disadvantages. Advantage is comfortable. I think my wife looks like my mother. So when I am with my wife, I can feel comfortable. However when I marry with her who is older than me, I have disadvantages too. That is worry. She is older than me so maybe she will die before I died. Actually I want to die with together or earlier than my wife. If I live without my wife, I will very alone..
