I need to relax

I found it. When I back home, I always do homework, sleep, eat... I felt that I haven't time to do something can relax. So I decide to go shopping with Gordon when we after school. To be honest, we didn't go shopping for a long time. And he bought a lot of things to make up his pressure. And I just bought one things. Actually, I just want to go outside to walk, to relax.

New Friends

Our class started 3 weeks ago. However I still don't have new friends. Actually, I have little problem that I can't approch to other people. It is very hard to me. For this reason, I couldn't have new friends. In addition, in our class, there are only two korean guys include me. Other peoples are from other countries. Now I really need to have new friends in our class. If you want to have frindship with me, just say "hello" to me and then I'm very easy to approch to you.

Miss Africa

        I came to the United Sates five years ago, I love America but, I Miss Africa more because I have family and friend there.  I remember when I got in America the first 6 month was hard for me. First I didn’t speak English so, if I need help I cannot ask for help to anybody,  second I was scared to go out because I don’t know how to come back to my building, seven to ten days I didn’t go out that much.  And I miss my befriend so much. Especially I remember what we have done. Africa is beautiful country for living, but in these years may people are hungry, and some countries have war. That’s one reason that I came here. America is good country too, but they people are not the same as Africa. For example if you see people fighting you will stop them, but in America they just watch you or call the police.

Crazy Valentine's Day!!

I have never seen so much gifts for Valentine's Day! The stores are filled up with greeting cards, heart-shaped chocolate, stuffed animals and so on. Everything is red, pink and twinkle. I think that is way too much!
My hostkids have to write a note to each person in there class and if they want to write a note to someone from a different class they also have to write a note for each person of this class. Isn't that crazy?? Why do you have to write each person? I thought Valentine's Day is the day of love. So why don't you just write a note to people you like and love? I can't imagine that you like all your classmates the same. And what is about your family and other friends? You might like them much better. So why do you HAVE to write a not to each person of your class. That sounds really crazy to me! Anyway I think we don't even need a Valentine's Day to tell our family and friends that we love them!

crazy car traffic!!!

I always drive to school, because I living in north chicago. If I don't drive a car,I can't go to school so I have to drive for go to school. Actually I have moning class that is ESL99. This class start at 9:30 am. It make me mad.. because in the moring, too many cars go to downtown. So when I go to school, I should one and half hour drive!!!!!! it make me crazy. I think There's always a lot of traffic at this time of day. that reason, I go to shcool at 7:50 am..... if I go to school at 8:10 or 8:20 am, I'm late at the moning class...

how about you? do you drive to school at the moring?? or do you live in other side(not the downtown)? can you understand my situation?

Education

       We cannot read or write if we do not have education. Education is very important in this world because no one can work without it. I know people who live in Africa without education, and I pity them because I was one of them. But here I am going to school and I have learned a lot since I started going to school. I remember when I came to the United Sates I did not know anything about education. I couldn't even spell my own name. Even now, I have family members who do not know how to read, write, or speak English. They always ask people for help. So that is why education is important for all people because without it everything is nothing in this world.

to be baby has to be awesome

I am taking care of a baby. Her name is Vivienne and she is almost three month old. When I saw her sleeping yesterday I thought about how wonderful it has to be a baby. You just have to eat and sleep all day long. No responsibillity, no hurry. Everyone likes you because you are such a cute baby and when you are smiling everyone is happy. Just be! On the other hand you are also helpless and you need someones help. So, I think every age is wonderful and has its special amenity. But don't you wish to sleep like a baby sometimes?
